The non-stop rain and the win against Leon made for a homecoming night that no one is likely to forget anytime soon, but was a special challenge for the homecoming queen nominees, who had to try to stay warm and dry while in their dress clothes.

In the end, Allison Grissette took home the title of Buffalo Bison 2015 Homecoming Queen.  Former homecoming queen Erykah Anderson was on hand to crown Grissett.

“All I felt when they called my name was excitement and shock,” senior Allison Grissett said. “I thought Jacie Jones was going to win. I was so caught up in the moment that I can’t even recall how I felt.”

No one really knew who was going to win the title. All the nominees were very happy that they had the opportunity to be a part of it.

“I was so proud of Allison,” senior Jacie Jones said. “I had no idea who was going to win this year. I am just so glad someone as sweet as Allison won, and also I was just so glad to be apart of that experience.”
