The Robotics Team has started to gear up for competition season again. This year, in order to pay for equipment and necessities, the is selling spirit bracelets and key chains.

Sponsor Kyle Gleghorn has been leading the team for the past 5 years.

“Our team is small, but they are very determined to make this work,” Gleghorn said, “which is why we want to raise money for competition.”

Gleghorn has been making the spirit bracelets himself but also lets the team members pitch in.

“At first, making the bracelets was challenging,” sophomore Stefani Trejo said. “I eventually got the hang of it, though, and they were easy to make.”

More than 50 bracelets and key chains have been made and sold. They come in a variety of colors and sizes.

“I think this is a good deal,” senior Luis Esquivel said. “Normally these bracelets would cost a lot more, and this is a good price.”
