Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is an amazing book for people with peculiar taste in books

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is narrated by 16-year-old Jacob Portman of present-day Englewood, Florida. In the story, Jacob tells the reader about his amazing adventures. It starts out with the death of his grandpa, Abraham Portman. Following this, Jacob finds clues and hidden messages to an orphanage on an island in Wales. While searching the house, he meets Emma Bloom. In fear, she runs from him and leads him into a cairn that sends him back to September 3, 1940.

In this book, Ransom Riggs writes about girls with incredible strength and invisible boys. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children develops around the mysterious killings on the present-day island in Wales. When Jacob tells the headmistress of the house, Miss Peregrine, she tells him that creatures have come to capture the peculiars. These creatures are called “hollows” and they are also responsible for Abraham Portman’s death. Now the peculiars must save their home, and Jacob must make the choice that could ultimately change his life.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is Ransom Riggs’ first book. This book is wonderfully written with amazing descriptions. Ransom Riggs has also published the sequel to the three-part trilogy. I love to read his books because they are so creative. If you like books that leave you on the edge of your seat, this is the one for you. I would encourage people to read this book because of the elaborate characters. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is an amazing book for the people with a peculiar taste in books.
