Lady Bison Lauren Helmcamp and Kendall Lee stay ready to help out as Marisa Jones goes in for the bump. The Ladies were up against Central Heights in the first playoff game of the season. They lost in four matches.

The Lady Bison ended their volleyball season with a loss to the Central Heights Lady Devils in the first round of the playoffs.

The Ladies played a tough game and lost the first match. In the second match they fought hard and came out on top. The last two matches the Bison fell to the Lady Devils.

“We played hard; it was a good game,” sophomore Cameron Mackenzie said. “It was nice having a lot of fans to support us.”

There were many people that came out to watch the playoff game. Even the cheerleaders came along to cheer for the volleyball girls.

“I think going to the volleyball game was a great way to get more of the community involved,” cheerleader Shalyn Cotton said. “The volleyball girls did good, and it sucks that they are out of playoffs now.”

For the senior girls, it was their last game ever.

“It was a bit sad knowing that it was my last volleyball game ever,” senior Kendall Lee said. “But this season has been the best, and it’s a huge accomplishment in itself that we got into playoffs.”
