One woman and two children were killed in a stampede as they were handing out clothing in a Rohingya refugee camp. On Friday, as supplies were being thrown from a relief truck driving down the road, the three were trampled to death by civilians trying to get supplies.
“409,000 refugees have fled to the relief camps in desperation for supplies; this is more than double the past refugee population in Rohingya’s camp. So many people’s clothes couldn’t be taken with them, so clothes were provided for them at the camp. A lot of homes and buildings were destroyed, nothing was left.
