Sophomore Taylor Shelton is announced and greeted by her teammates at the Bi-District game at the start of their post-season run.

The Lady Bison traveled to Corsicana to meet up with Crawford Tuesday but were unable to walk away with the win to move on to the Regional Semifinals. With a final score of 47-65, the girls saw their season come to an end.

“I knew going in what we were going up against, but still remained hopeful about the girls competing well,” head coach Jozette Jenkins said.  “Crawford is a ‘senior laden’ team with good offensive and defensive chemistry that didn’t match up well with our youth.  However, we didn’t like being on the receiving end of that, so again I challenged the girls to work during the off season and summer to get better and allow for a different outcome next season.  All in all, I’m proud of the girls; each year, they exceed expectations.”
