The Lady Bison hosted the Elkhart Elks Tuesday night and finished with a 53-17 win. Senior Jaycee Harris led with 32 points, hitting 10 three-pointers and a two-point shot. 

The Ladies outscored the Lady Elks 11-2 in the first quarter, with Harris bringing in eight points and sophomore Kaylee Rodriguez bringing in three. Moving into the second quarter, freshman Victoria Brooks added two, along with scores by Harris and Rodriguez to finish the half with the Lady Bison ahead 24-7.

“I was proud of how everyone came together and worked together to take the win,” Brooks said. “We have been working hard, and we are proud of the win.”

Second-half contributors included Harris, Brooks and Rodriguez again, along with senior Alondra Dominguez and freshman Alexia Callaway. The basketball teams will take on Fairfield Friday night.
