Senior Taylor Rutledge gets off the floor to sned the ball over the net for a point in the Lady Bison’s preseason game against Oakwood. The Ladies won in three sets.

The Lady Bison came out on top as they took on the Oakwood Panthers last Tuesday night at home. The extra crowd generated by Meet the Bison night didn’t shake the girls, who were focused on what they needed to do after nearly a month of practices and preseason games before school started.

“I’m not nervous because I don’t think there’s anything to be nervous about,” sophomore Erykah Anderson said. “I’m just thinking about how much fun I’m going to have with my teammates.”

The Ladies kept their confidence high as they dominated the game, taking three sets in a row: 25-5, 25-10, and 25-18.
