Earlier this week, the Trump’s experienced a scary situation. Trump Jr’s wife, Vanessa Trump, received a suspicious letter that contained a mysterious white powder. After opening the envelope, Vanessa felt nauseous; her and her kids were sent to a hospital for precaution. The NYPD tests showed that the substance was not harmful, and is seen to be cornstarch. Although the substance turned out to be not harmful, the Trump’s have expressed their disgust and horror of having to go through the scare.

Last week, Ivanka Trump tweeted “thinking of @MrsVanessaTrump & wishing I was by her side. No one deserves to be frightened this way. There is no excuse.” Trump Jr also tweeted regarding the situation, “Thankful that Vanessa & my children are safe and unharmed after the incredibly scary situation that occurred this morning. Truly disgusting that certain individuals choose to express their opposing views with such disturbing behavior.

Detectives from the New York Police department continue to investigate the substance.
